Surface street portion of my roof rig test drive - Shot in downtown Pleasanton, CA early 2/8/12.

Canon 5D Mark II & 17-40 f/4L rigged on Wood’s, Zacuto & Sachtler gear.
ISO 3200 with Technicolor CineStyle and dabble of Neat Video.

Audio is Nine Inch Nails - 36 Ghosts IV.

Created from footage I shot the evening of 7/31/11 - The last skate at Cal Skate, Milpitas, CA. Cut to ‘It Takes Two’ by Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock.

I went to skate, not to shoot, but I’m glad I brought the camera anyway. Hopefully these clips bring a smile to your face, as they have mine - and maybe they’ll help people who haven’t been understand what we’re always on about.

To the management and staff, and all the great friends I’ve made over the years - you’re all family. That floor and the building around it was a home away from home. Any time I was in town I knew I could stop in for a warm welcome and the best skating anywhere.

Thanks for the memories!

Some camera tests for an upcoming video series - The Gift of Quit.  The was my first commercial project using Technicolor’s CineStyle picture style, shown here ungraded, both with and without their s-curve LUT.  Couldn’t be happier with the performance, though there are a few gotchas we needed to work though.

Expect to see a lot more from this guy - Eric Hartman - A skilled smoking cessation coach who seems to really understand the struggles smokers go through trying to quit.

The results of a timelapse experiment shot from Mt. Diablo the evening of 3-4-11.

Shot with the Canon 7D, 50mm 1.4 & B+W KSM circular polarizer. And a park table.
